Purpose: Install incline platform lift at stage in Bunker Auditorium

Effect(s) on Occupants: Construction will be occurring in Bunker Auditorium. There may be loud noises and construction traffic within the building.

Upcoming Road Closure!

19th Street between Elm and Illinois will be closed on the following dates:12/29/25 thru Saturday, 01/10/2026.

This work is necessary for the new Lookout Apartments construction, they will be working on the new street crossing coming this summer. The north sidewalk will remain open and available to everyone. The traffic will be diverted on Elm and Illinois to 17th St, and back around. Please see map below for details. This will keep traffic flowing and reduce delays. Please use caution when in this vicinity, be aware of the increased traffic.

As always, please be aware of your surroundings, and be sure to follow posted safety signage and all safety personnel’s directions.

Outage Time: 6:30am – 4:00pm daily
Purpose: System(s): Entire Building 5 Year Electrical Preventive Maintenance

Effect(s) on Occupants:
1.There will be no power to the building. Lights and all electrical systems will go on and off without warning during the times listed above. Please make sure all computers and equipment are turned off.
2.This will affect the heating systems. There will be no ventilation in the building during the listed times above.
3.There will be no blaster card access.
4.For public safety, no one will be allowed in the building on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 6am to 4pm all outage days.

Special Notes
There will be no electrical power and no laboratory exhaust ventilation due to Electrical maintenance work.
